From Brazil to Europe and the United States alongside the customer at every stage of transport
Ensuring a personalized service that always lives up to customer expectations is one of Ventana Serra's main objectives.
With this in mind, in September, a meeting dedicated to an important customer in the food sector was held at the Brazilian branch of Ventana Serra in Belo Horizonte: Café Campos Altos, one of the main coffee producers in Brazil and an established customer, since 2019, for export services to Europe and the United States.
Thanks to 360-degree expertise, Ventana Serra supports Café Campos Altos at every stage of transport: the coffee bean, still green, is shipped by sea inside the container; upon arrival in the country of destination, after carrying out all the customs clearance procedures, it reaches the customer's main warehouses where it is roasted, packaged and distributed.
“Around 120 containers of precious coffee are handled every year. An important traffic, which Ventana Serra has always guaranteed to the best, even during the current container crisis”, comments Paolo Casadonte - Country Manager of Ventana Serra do Brasil - and continues: "As a long-term consequence of the pandemic, the commercial sector maritime has gone into collapse. Shortage of containers, accumulated at sea or in Asian terminals, a dramatic increase in costs per unit transported are part of the current scenario. Despite all these difficulties, we have always been able to respond promptly to the needs of our customers, offering a timely and tailor-made service in all circumstances".
Present at the event were José Maria de Oliveira and Nathalia de Oliveira - respectively owner and CEO of Café Campos Altos - with Paolo Casadonte and Renato Ramos - Project Coordinator of Ventana Serra do Brasil - and Carolina Enham, Consul of Russia. The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the client's future export strategy that aims to enter new markets such as Russia and China.
